Scottish Splendors (07 Days)

Of all the holiday destinations in the world, none can match Scotland for history and heritage, breathtaking scenery, and sheer romance. It’s a country that will capture your heart. Experience Scotland from the history of Edinburgh Castle to the scenic beauty of the magical Isle of Skye.

Itinerary :

Day 01 : London - Edinburgh

Take your flight from London to Edinburgh. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. The only real way to appreciate Edinburgh is to take a gentle stroll around this wonderful city. This is one of its citizens' most popular pastimes and it's easy to understand why. A favourite walk for visitors and residents alike is the walk down the banks of the Water of Leith, that hard-working little donkey of a river, past art galleries and gardens, and ending up overlooking the Forth at Newhaven.

Overnight in your Edinburgh hotel.

Day 02 : Edinburgh – City Tour (Lifestyle Holidays recommends an excursion to Rosslyn Chapel)

After breakfast proceed on an Edinburgh sightseeing tour, which includes a visit to the apartments of the impressive castle, views of Holyrood House, the official Scottish residence of the Queen and Arthurs Seat, Royal Mile, the new Scottish Parliament building, and Princes Street with the ornate Scott Memorial.  Later you may wish to take an excursion to the Rosslyn Chapel, recently made famous by the Da Vinci Code.

Next visit Eilean Donan Castle before crossing to the Isle of Skye. Later, return to the mainland and travel via Loch Carron and Achnasheen back to Inverness.

Overnight in your Inverness hotel.
