Day 01: Antalya (Day Free At Leisure)

Arrival at Antalya Airport and transfer to the hotel and check-in. Rest of the day is free at leisure. The city of Antalya stretches along the bay bearing its name, and is built at 39 meters altitude on a rocky coastline. One is immediately struck by the Taurus Mountains rising to 3086 meters above this coastline, intersperesed with valleys of varying sizes. Land and sea everywhere meet the beaches stretching for miles or the steep cliffs. The Taurus Mountains against the blue backdrop of the sky, the precipices and especially the caves close to the sea add another dimension to the beauty of the region. Overnight is at your hotel in Antalya.

Day 02: Antalya (Full Day Tour of Perge & Aspendos)

Full Day guided sightseeing tour of Perge, the ancient city where most of the statues that are on display in Antalya Museum were unearthed, Aspendos, which bears one of the best preserved Roman theatres in Anatolia, and a waterfall. Overnight is at your hotel in Antalya.

After breakfast you have the rest of the day at leisure. The safari really goes through an exciting route of winding roads, a few narrow unsurfaced roads where 2 vehicles cannot easily pass each other.

The road passes through dense pine forests, the trees soaring up 20 meters. Road hazards include flocks of sheep and traditionally dressed village women. After the dirty & dusty trail the refreshing dip in the local waterfall hidden amongst the trees is well worth the walk up the hill - as you jump into the crystal cool waters of 'Selale' feel the grime just wash away.
